TCL Initiative

TCL Initiative (TCLI) is dedicated to driving societal change through literature, arts, and culture. The initiative hosts an annual creative writing competition for high school students in Nigeria, stages plays to raise awareness about common health issues, and seeks to influence society through artistic expression. TCLI is also interested in partnering to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), recognizing that such collaborations can help achieve more objectives and contribute to a better world.

What we Do

TCLI promotes education through writing workshops designed to enhance students' writing skills and etiquette. TCLI is committed to developing and nurturing the whole child, advocating for the possibility of pursuing education while simultaneously following one's passion. The knowledge gained through education serves as a powerful tool, enabling individuals to leverage their passions and stand out in fields of similar interest.

Education is a crucial pathway to a better life, and we believe that through education, goals can be achieved, providing a solid foundation for pursuing one's passion. Our community library and reading hub offer students a valuable resource, especially in areas where educational materials are scarce. Here, students can read, receive mentoring, network, and conduct research in a nature-friendly environment. The hub features various reading sections to cater to individual preferences, whether in complete silence or with a bit of ambient noise.
